The Edwards 4X-6/3S1G2Y is an EST LED & Switch annunciator module. First, it provides 6 groups of 3 switches with one Green and two Yellow LEDs per group. Specifically, it gives operators per-zone supervisory and trouble annunciation with enable/disable control.
Where the Edwards 4X-6/3S1G2Y fits
This module installs on EST3 platform Local Rail (LRM) chassis. Therefore, fire alarm engineers use it for distributed annunciation at remote nodes. In addition, it works in command centers, lobby annunciators, and equipment rooms. As a result, integrators get clear per-zone status with operator override.
LED layout
Each of the six groups has three switches. Above each switch sit three LEDs: one Green and two Yellow. Specifically, the “1G2Y” suffix encodes 1 Green + 2 Yellow LEDs per switch position. As a result, the module provides 18 total switches and 54 total LEDs across the faceplate.
