The Eaton ELHNR is a Wheelock Eluxa LED-platform horn. It is a wall-mount appliance with a red housing and supports both 12 VDC and 24 VDC operation. The “HN” in the part number denotes horn; no strobe is included.
First, the appliance produces a fire alarm horn tone for indoor commercial notification circuits. Then, the installer selects one of three patterns: Continuous, T3 (fire), or T3/T4 (fire + CO). As a result, the ELHNR covers both fire and carbon monoxide signaling needs in one part number.

Mounting and Listings
The ELHNR ships with a hinged mounting plate. Specifically, mounting options include ELSBB wall backboxes, any single-gang box, or 4-inch square with an adapter kit. In addition, the appliance is listed under UL 464, CAN/ULC-S525, CSFM, RoHS, and FCC Part 15.
Wall dimensions: 4.79 in H x 2.76 in W x 1.18 in D. Furthermore, the UV-stabilized engineered-plastic housing exceeds UL 94V-0 flammability rating.
Compatibility
The ELHNR works on any standard supervised 24 VDC NAC. Also, the Eluxa family is UL/ULC listed as compatible with control panels and sync modules already validated for Wheelock RSS and Exceder LED3 strobe products. Therefore, the ELHNR can sit on the same NAC as legacy xenon strobes within the same field of view.
Ordering Notes
For combined horn-plus-strobe coverage, choose the ELHSR horn-strobe wall variant instead. Also, the matching white version is the ELHNW; the ceiling sibling is the ELHNRC. Furthermore, verify the host NAC voltage and sync-protocol requirement against the appliance setting before final design.
