The Eaton ELSPKRC is a Wheelock Eluxa LED-platform high-fidelity speaker appliance. Specifically, it is a ceiling-mount, red-housing speaker with FIRE lettering. Notably, this SKU is a speaker only — it does not include a strobe.
First, the Eluxa speaker line delivers a 300 to 8000 Hz frequency range. As a result, the ELSPKRC produces high-intelligibility voice messages and tone signaling. Therefore, it suits emergency communications, mass notification, voice evacuation, and fire alarm signaling.
Eaton ELSPKRC Audio Output
The speaker accepts 25 or 70 VRMS, field selectable. In addition, five power taps are field selectable: 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, 1, and 2 watts (5 W on 70 V). Specifically, sound output per UL 1480 at 10 ft anechoic and reverberant runs 75 / 79 / 82 / 85 / 87 dBA across those taps.

Sleeping-Room (520 Hz) Capability
The Eluxa speaker is listed to the low-frequency requirements of UL 464 at 520 Hz. As a result, it meets the NFPA 72 520 Hz tone requirement for sleeping areas when the panel sends an LF tone. Therefore, one part covers both standard signaling and sleeping-room compliance.
Mounting and Listings
The ELSPKRC ships with a mounting plate featuring a capture hinge for one-handed install. In addition, mounting options include the LSPKBB-CR/CW backbox or 4" square, 2-1/8" deep box. Furthermore, the appliance carries listings under UL 1480, CAN/ULC-S541, CSFM, FCC, and ICES.
Dimensions: 6.27″ diameter x 1.9″ D. Weight: 1.54 lb (700 g). Operating range: 32°F to 122°F (0°C to 50°C), 93% humidity max. Material: UV-stabilized engineered plastic, exceeds UL 94V-0 flammability rating.
Compatibility and Sibling SKUs
The Eluxa speaker line is UL/ULC-listed compatible with FACPs validated for Wheelock RSS and Exceder LED3 strobe families. Also, it is approved for mixed installation with legacy Wheelock RSS strobes in the same field of view.
