The Eaton ESB-KIT-W is a white surface-mount back box and trim plate kit. It mounts the Eaton/Wheelock Exceder LED notification appliance to a wall when a flush back box is not available. As a result, contractors can install Exceder LED horns, strobes, and horn/strobes on finished walls without cutting into the drywall.
The kit pairs a metal back box with a matching white trim plate. First, the back box mounts to the wall surface. Then, the Exceder LED appliance fastens into the back box. Finally, the trim plate completes the install with a clean finished look.
Why Use the Eaton ESB-KIT-W
Many Exceder LED installs land on existing walls where no flush box was set during rough-in. In these cases, the ESB-KIT-W gives you a code-compliant surface-mount path without retrofitting drywall. In addition, the kit’s painted white finish keeps the appearance consistent with the white Exceder LED appliance.
