The Farenhyt ECS-50WB is an intelligent 50-watt amplifier for emergency communication systems. It supplies 50 watts of audio power for voice evacuation. Specifically, it ships in a black cabinet with its own power supply and battery backup. As a result, it forms a self-contained amplifier node.
Farenhyt ECS-50WB amplifier overview
This amplifier connects to the Farenhyt ECS panel using a six-wire link. Two wires carry the voice bus, and four wires carry the SBUS. In addition, it offers selectable 25 V or 70.7 V speaker output. Also, it provides four onboard speaker circuits.
The ECS-CE4 expander increases the speaker circuits from four to eight. Furthermore, the amplifier supports standby batteries up to 18 Ah. With an RBB cabinet, battery capacity expands up to 35 Ah. Therefore, runtime can scale to the project.
Installation and listings
The ECS-50WB mounts in a surface or flush configuration. Moreover, it complies with UL 864 10th Edition and UL 2572 2nd Edition. As a result, it meets NFPA 72 emergency communication requirements.
