The Fire-Lite (H365) is a low-profile, intelligent 135°F fixed-temperature heat detector in white. It plugs into a separate Fire-Lite base. Specifically, it runs only on the LiteSpeed protocol.
In addition, the H365 uses a fast-response thermistor circuit. As a result, you get reliable fixed-temperature heat detection at the 135°F alarm setpoint.
How the Fire-Lite (H365) Works
The detector senses ambient temperature continuously through its sealed thermistor element. Therefore, it reacts quickly when heat at the sensor reaches 135°F.
Furthermore, the H365 communicates with the host panel over Fire-Lite’s LiteSpeed addressable protocol. As a result, panels can poll device status every five seconds.
Also, two LEDs on the sensor provide a 360° visible alarm indication. First, they blink red during normal communication. Then, they latch steady red on alarm.
Addressing and Installation
Rotary decimal switches on the device set the address from 1 to 159. As a result, no external programmer is required. In addition, a tamper-resistant locking feature prevents removal without a tool.
Therefore, the H365 is a direct replacement for the older Fire-Lite H355 thermal sensor. It also retains the 50-foot UL 521 spacing of the H355.
