The Secutron FS-400C-RR is a red ceiling-mount LED strobe for fire alarm notification circuits. LED strobe technology keeps current draw low. Therefore, more devices fit on each notification appliance circuit. The RR suffix denotes the red housing; a white version (FS-400C-WW) is also available.

The selected candela setting stays visible through a front window. Also, the tamper-resistant selector sits on the back of the unit. A shorting clip allows wiring checks before the strobe is installed.
Synchronization and Mounting
The strobe synchronizes over the MGC sync protocol from compatible panels and power supplies. Alternatively, the MRI-4050 sync module ties it to other UL/ULC-listed panels. Mounting is flexible too. Specifically, the universal plate fits single-gang, double-gang, octagon, 4-inch square, and 4-inch junction boxes. For surface work, use the BB-400R red backbox. Listings include UL 1971, UL 1638, and ULC-S526.
