SKU: G1-P Brand:

The Edwards g1-p horn is a 24 V steady-tone Genesis Series horn in white. First, it sounds a continuous (non-temporal) tone for coded or non-coded signal circuits. As a result, it is the right choice for applications that require a constant-on horn output rather than the NFPA 72 three-pulse pattern.

Edwards g1-p horn application

Use the G1-P where the signal circuit’s coding is generated upstream by the panel or by a coded-signal master. Then, the horn responds with steady tone as the panel applies and removes power. Furthermore, this lets the G1-P work on legacy coded NACs and on installations where temporal coding is not required.

Important: Signal Master incompatibility

The G1-P is NOT compatible with the Genesis Signal Master (G1M, G1M-RM, EG1M, EG1M-RM) and is NOT compatible with the SIGA-CC1S or SIGA-MCC1S intelligent sync output modules. Specifically, the steady-tone G1-P horn lacks the on-board temporal pattern generation that the Signal Master coordinates. As a result, for synchronized horn-strobe deployments, specify the G1-HD temporal horn (or the G1-HDVM horn-strobe) instead.
