Edwards G1R-C Genesis Chime — Red Wall-Mount Audible
The Edwards G1R-C is a red-finish Genesis Series chime. First, note that it produces an audible mellow tone only. It does not include a strobe.
This appliance is intended for private-mode audible signaling. As a result, Edwards specifies horns or horn-strobes (not chimes) for public-mode fire alarm evacuation tone.

Agency listings
Per K85001-0574, the Genesis chime family carries UL 464, CSFM, CE, FCC, and MEA listings. In addition, the strobe-equipped siblings carry UL 1971 and UL 1638 — those listings do not apply to the chime-only G1R-C.
Compatible synchronization sources
The G1R-C synchronizes with the G1M, G1M-RM, SIGA-CC1S, SIGA-MCC1S, BPS6A, and BPS10A. Specifically, coded chime operation requires a Genesis Signal Master.
Choosing the right Genesis variant
First, select G1R-C for red-finish indoor chime with no marking. Then, choose G1RF-C if a FIRE marking is required. For paired audible-plus-visual notification, use G1R-CVM (chime-strobe) or G1R-HDVM (horn-strobe) instead.
