The Gamewell AMM-4F is an addressable monitor module wired for Class A operation. First, it connects field devices to a Gamewell-FCI addressable fire alarm panel. Then it reports their status over the signaling line circuit. As a result, the panel can identify each monitored input by address.
What the Gamewell AMM-4F monitors
This module supervises one initiating device circuit (IDC). Specifically, it monitors conventional 2-wire smoke detectors or normally-open dry-contact devices. For example, it can watch waterflow switches, valve tamper switches, or manual contacts. Therefore one AMM-4F brings a zone of conventional devices onto an addressable loop.
Specifications
- Type: addressable monitor (input) module
- Circuit: Class A supervised IDC
- Monitors: conventional 2-wire smoke detectors or N.O. dry-contact initiating devices
- Addressing: individual device address on the SLC
- Compatibility: Gamewell-FCI addressable fire alarm control panels
The AMM-4F suits both retrofit and new installations. In addition, its Class A wiring adds fault tolerance to the monitored circuit. This makes it a flexible interface for mixed conventional and addressable systems.
