The Genesis 46141004 is an 18 AWG, 2-conductor stranded shielded plenum fire alarm cable from Southwire’s Genesis® line. It carries the Type FPLP power-limited fire alarm plenum rating. As a result, installers use it where electrical noise rejection matters. The cable ships in red on a 1000-foot reel.

Construction starts with bare copper conductors and low-smoke PVC insulation. In addition, an aluminum/polyester foil shield wraps all conductors. Installation Applications
