The Honeywell XRM-24 is a 24 V, 100 VA expansion transformer for Fire-Lite fire alarm control panels. It increases notification appliance circuit capacity beyond the factory transformer.
First, the XRM-24 mounts on two studs in the control panel backbox. Then it sits directly below the factory-installed standard transformer. As a result, the panel’s NAC budget grows without changing the enclosure or wiring layout.
Honeywell XRM-24 Function
The XRM-24 steps down AC line voltage to the low-voltage AC required for system operation and battery charging. Furthermore, the additional VA capacity is dedicated to the notification appliance circuits. On the SFP-2404 panel specifically, the transformer expands NAC power from 2.5 A to 5 A.

Compatible Panels
The XRM-24 is designed for Fire-Lite FACPs that accept the optional expansion transformer, including the SFP-2404. In addition, the XRM-24E variant covers 230 V markets, while the XRM-24B is the step-down transformer revision.
