The DSC HSM2300 is a supervised 1 A power supply module for PowerSeries Neo intrusion systems. It expands available AUX current when the panel approaches its native power limit.
The module accepts a 16.5 VAC / 40 VA transformer secondary. Then it delivers up to 1.0 A at 12 VDC nominal to connected Corbus devices. In addition, the board is fully supervised for AC fail, low battery, and AUX fault.
The HSM2300 also charges and supervises a sealed lead-acid battery. Specifically, it accepts 4 Ah, 7 Ah, or 14 Ah (2 × 7 Ah) standby batteries. Therefore, installers can size the standby capacity to the panel load.

Compatible Panels
The HSM2300 works with PowerSeries Neo panels HS2016, HS2032, HS2064, and HS2128. Furthermore, the same module is supported across PowerSeries Pro panels.
Important Application Note
The HSM2300 is a security/intrusion power supply. Therefore, do not use it to power a fire alarm panel or fire NAC. For fire systems, use a UL 864 listed fire power supply.
