The Mircom FX-2000MNS is the main control board for the FleX-Net intelligent fire alarm platform. It anchors the FX-2000 system. Specifically, it manages detection, notification, and panel-to-panel network communication.
What the Mircom FX-2000MNS does
First, the board provides one intelligent Signaling Line Circuit (SLC) for addressable devices. In addition, it includes four Style Z/Y (Class A/B) Notification Appliance Circuits. As a result, one board handles both detection and signaling.
The FX-2000MNS also supports the FleX-Net networking architecture. Therefore, multiple panels can share alarms and status across a building or campus. Furthermore, it mounts in the BBX-FXMNS enclosure and accepts up to nine internal adder modules for expansion.
Where it fits
This board suits larger commercial and institutional buildings. For example, hospitals, universities, and multi-building sites use FleX-Net networks. Also, it cross-references the FNC-2000 and FX-2003 series.
