The Notifier NFC-RM remote microphone is an accessory for the FirstCommand NFC-50/100(E) emergency voice evacuation system. First, it provides remote push-to-talk paging capability. As a result, operators can broadcast All Call announcements from a secondary location.
How the Notifier NFC-RM remote microphone works
The unit houses a built-in microphone with a push-to-talk switch. In addition, a keyed lock prevents unauthorized access. An optional thumb-lock is also available for less restrictive deployments.
The microphone requires three connections from the NFC-50/100(E) main console. Specifically, it needs an external data bus, an external audio riser, and 24 VDC operator-interface power.
