The Notifier NH-200-IV is an intelligent, addressable thermal detector in an ivory finish. It senses heat at a fixed temperature of 135°F (57°C). First, it plugs into a separate B300-6-IV base. As a result, installation and service stay simple.
This low-profile heat detector works with Notifier FireWarden Series fire alarm control panels. In addition, it connects to the two-wire signaling line circuit (SLC). Therefore, the panel monitors each detector by its own address.
Notifier NH-200-IV protocols and addressing
The “-IV” version runs both FlashScan and CLIP protocols. Also, you set its address with rotary decimal switches. As a result, the panel reports the detector’s exact location during an event. Furthermore, the detector responds to panel polling and reports its device type.
The NH-200-IV provides fixed-temperature heat sensing only. However, rate-of-rise and high-temperature versions are separate models. Specifically, the NH-200R adds rate-of-rise, and the NH-200H activates at 190°F (88°C).
