The DSC PC5200 is a 1 A supervised power supply module for DSC PowerSeries intrusion control panels. It is also sold under the catalog designation PWR864/1A.
The module supplies up to 1.0 A at 12 VDC. As a result, it provides extra AUX current when a PowerSeries control panel approaches its native power limit. Furthermore, it is fully supervised by the host panel.
The PC5200 is a security/intrusion accessory. Therefore, it pairs with DSC PowerSeries panels — not with UL 864 listed fire alarm panels.

Compatible Panels
The PC5200 is supported on legacy PowerSeries panels — PC5010, PC5015, and PC5020. Also, it works with PowerSeries PC1864, PC1832, and PC1616 panels. Specifically, PC1616/1832/1864 firmware version 4.1 or higher supports up to four PC5200 modules per system.
Important Application Note
The PC5200 is a security/intrusion AUX power supply. Therefore, do not use it to power a fire alarm panel or fire NAC. For fire applications, use a UL 864 listed fire alarm power supply instead.
