The Edwards PNC-0003 is a Nexus sounder beacon. The unit combines a high-output audible signal with a red xenon strobe in a red housing.
First, the sounder produces audible alert tones rated to 120 dB at one meter. Then, the xenon flash provides synchronized visual signaling. As a result, the unit delivers both audible and visual notification from a single device.
This sounder beacon operates on 10 to 60 volts DC. Therefore, it suits installations with varied supply voltages or longer cable runs where supply voltage may drop.
