The Edwards QS1-1-G-2 is the basic QuickStart QS1 intelligent single-loop fire alarm control panel. Specifically, the suffix denotes a single option-card space, gray enclosure, and 230 VAC transformer. First, the panel ships with a CPU/Display Unit, an SLIC Signature Loop Intelligent Controller, and a PS6 Power Supply. Then, installers add option cards as needed.

This panel supports up to 250 Signature Series intelligent devices on one Class A or Class B SLC. In addition, the SLIC provides two programmable NACs for horns and strobes. Furthermore, QuickStart’s auto-learn function and front-panel programming simplify setup.

Ordering and Compatibility

The “G” denotes the gray enclosure (also available as “R” in red). However, the red enclosure is only offered with the 115 VAC transformer. Therefore, the QS1-1-G-2 is the international-voltage gray variant. In addition, the QS-1-VR vandal-resistant cabinet door and TRIM-1 trim kit are common enclosure accessories.
