The Edwards QSA-2-S Surface Annunciator Cabinet is a discontinued surface-mount enclosure for the QuickStart QS Series. Specifically, the “-2” suffix denotes capacity for two SL30 display cards inside one enclosure. First, the QS Series annunciator cabinet houses LED/switch cards that mirror QS1 panel status. Then, the cards interface to the panel through an RS-485 annunciator bus.
Status: This product is discontinued, with no direct replacement available. However, the current QSA-1-S single-position surface annunciator cabinet remains available. Therefore, projects requiring 60 zones of annunciation must use multiple QSA-1-S enclosures.

Recommended Replacement Path
For new installations or QSA-2-S retirements, consider the supported single-card cabinets. Specifically, the QSA-1-S (surface) and QSA-1-F (flush) each accept one SL30 display card. In addition, the modern R-Series LCD and LED annunciators (RLCD, RLED-C, RLED24, RA-ENC enclosures) offer a path forward where Common Indicators and a backlit LCD are preferred over LED-only zone display.
Specification Notes
The QSA-2-S itself carries no standalone UL listing as a passive cabinet. Instead, agency compliance flows through the parent QS1 panel. Furthermore, the SL30 display card it housed supports zones numbered 1-30 (a second SL30-1 card numbered 31-60 was the second-position option in this cabinet).
