The Altronix RBSNTTL is an ultra-sensitive DPDT relay with an electrically isolated trigger input. It accepts TTL-level signals while switching real-world AC and DC loads.
First, connect the 12VDC or 24VDC supply to POS (+) and NEG (–). Then apply the trigger voltage between TRG (+) and TRG (–). As a result, the trigger circuit pulls only 2 mA to 16 mA depending on the supplied voltage.
Furthermore, the trigger is fully isolated from the coil supply. Therefore, the trigger ground does not need to match the load-side ground. This makes the RBSNTTL ideal as a clean interface between logic-level outputs and higher-voltage loads.

Wiring Notes
The trigger is isolated from the coil supply. Therefore, when using a common power source for trigger and supply, the unused trigger terminal must be jumpered to its respective POS (+) or NEG (–) supply terminal. Otherwise, the isolation gap will keep the relay from energizing.
Application Notes
The RBSNTTL is a board-level interface relay. It is not itself a UL-listed fire alarm device. Therefore, in a life-safety installation the host panel carries the agency listing. Furthermore, the installer must follow the host panel’s listed wiring instructions at the system level.
