The Resideo (958-2) is an overhead door magnetic contact for security systems. First, it mounts at an overhead or garage door. Then it signals the alarm panel when the door opens. As a result, you get reliable monitoring of large openings. Specifically, it suits commercial and industrial doors.
Built for tough openings
This contact uses a Form C, SPDT reed switch, so it wires normally open or normally closed. In addition, an adjustable magnet with an L bracket sets the gap. The body is also epoxy sealed against moisture. Therefore, it works well in freezers and outdoor openings. A 24″ armored cable ships standard.
