The Resideo VISTA-20P is a hybrid burglary control panel from Resideo (formerly Honeywell Home Ademco). It supports both hardwired and wireless intrusion devices, with a built-in two-wire smoke zone for residential and small-commercial fire detection.
First, the panel ships with hardwired zones onboard. Then those zones expand to up to 48 total with V-Plex polling-loop devices and 5800-series wireless. As a result, the VISTA-20P scales from a small two-zone install to a partitioned 48-zone system in two partitions.
In addition, Zone 1 is configured by default as a two-wire smoke zone and supports compatible 2-wire smoke detectors. Burglar alarms use a steady sounder output. However, fire alarms produce the NFPA 72 temporal-3 pulse.
