The RSG SP-1-KL is a single-pole RSG SP Series pull station factory-configured with a keyed-reset lock. Specifically, the KL suffix specifies a keylock for test and reset. Furthermore, the SP-1 base uses a normally-open toggle switch.
First, the user pulls the lever to activate the alarm. Then, only an authorized keyholder can reset the station. As a result, casual users cannot silence the alarm after activation.
RSG SP-1-KL Option Detail
The KL (keyed reset) option suits schools, hospitals, and secured facilities. Furthermore, it discourages tampering between drills and after real activations. As a result, the station fits routine inspections in environments where uncontrolled resets would be a concern.
