RSG SP-1-PS Pull Station with Pre-Signal

The RSG SP-1-PS is a single-pole SP Series pull station factory-configured for pre-signal two-stage operation. Specifically, the PS suffix adds the contact arrangement needed for staged annunciation. Furthermore, the SP-1 base uses a normally-open toggle switch.

First, a standard pull places the panel in pre-signal mode. Then, trained staff verify a real fire condition. As a result, the panel can escalate to general alarm without an immediate full-building evacuation.

RSG SP-1-PS Option Detail

The PS (pre-signal) option suits hospitals, hotels, and high-rises that use staged response. Furthermore, the panel must be programmed for two-stage operation — the station does not enforce the sequence on its own. As a result, coordinate PS specification with the panel programmer and the local AHJ.
