The Hochiki SCI-B67 is a 6″ analog short-circuit isolator base. It mounts plug-in analog sensors to fire alarm signaling line circuits. In addition, it isolates short-circuit faults to keep the rest of the loop running.
The SCI-B67 carries a UL listing. Furthermore, it includes a built-in LED that lights when a short is detected. As a result, technicians can spot fault locations during inspection without extra tools.
Hochiki SCI-B67 Specifications
First, the operating voltage is 17 to 41 VDC. Normal current draw is 160 µA. Active current is 10 mA. Then, the base ships with an anti-tamper head-locking system. To enable it, you remove a small plastic tab on the back of the sensor.
Once locked, the head can only be removed with a small-diameter screwdriver. Therefore, the SCI-B67 suits public-access areas well. Also, the catalog number is 0300-06860, and the listing is to UL 7th Edition.
Compatible Detectors
The SCI-B67 works with Hochiki NS Digital Analog sensors. Supported models include AIE-EA, ALG-V, ALK-V, and ALN-V. In addition, ATG-EA, ATJ-EA, ACA-V, ACC-V, ACD-V, and ALO-V are compatible.
