The Siemens SSD-C is a System Status Display with control for the FireFinder XLS panel. It shows system events on a clear alphanumeric screen. First, it reports alarm, supervisory, and trouble conditions. In addition, it lets operators control the system from one place.
Siemens SSD-C display and controls
This module features a 40-character alphanumeric LCD. Also, it includes six status LEDs. Furthermore, it stores up to 1,500 event messages for review. The SSD-C adds three control buttons. Specifically, operators can acknowledge events, silence audible circuits, and reset the system.
Operating modes
You can run the SSD-C in display-only mode. Alternatively, you can enable full system control. Technicians configure these settings with the Zeus Programming Tool. As a result, you set the language and display type to suit the site.
