The Edwards SIGA-MB4 Transponder Mounting Bracket is a Signature Series mechanical accessory. It allows two 1-gang compatible Signature modules to mount in a single 2-gang electrical box. Therefore, it consolidates module installations and reduces required enclosure space.
Edwards SIGA-MB4 compatible modules
First, the SIGA-MB4 accepts the following 1-gang Signature modules: SIGA-CT1 (P/N 387021P), SIGA-CR (P/N 387023P), SIGA-CT2 (P/N 387037P), SIGA-MM1 (P/N 387057P), and SIGA-WTM (P/N 387058P). In addition, the bracket accommodates any combination of these modules in its two positions.
Compatible electrical boxes
The SIGA-MB4 mounts to a North American 2-1/2 in (64 mm) deep 2-gang box. Also, it mounts to a standard 4 in square box 1-1/2 in (38 mm) deep. Furthermore, the bracket accepts a European 100 mm square box for international installations.
Installation notes
When transferring a 1-gang module to the SIGA-MB4, retain the self-adhesive barcode address label. Without the barcode label, the module cannot be addressed by the Signature controller. Then retain any end-of-line resistors, bilingual faceplate labels, and peel-off barcode labels supplied. Use the faceplate and faceplate screws supplied with the SIGA-MB4 instead of the original module faceplate.
Mounting hardware
The bracket ships with two 6-32 x 7/16 in (11 mm) screws for box mounting. In addition, four 4-24 x 5/16 in (8 mm) self-tapping screws secure the faceplate to the module assembly. For top-and-bottom dual-module installation, straighten the bracket tabs flush with the bracket edges.
