The SigCom MNS-100APB is an audio power booster for the SigCom MNS-100 mass notification system. It adds 100 watts of audio output power to a new or existing MNS-100 installation.
The added power feeds four supervised speaker circuits. Each circuit runs at 25 Vrms and can be wired Class A or Class B. Internally, the booster uses a high-efficiency Class D amplifier.
How the SigCom MNS-100APB activates
The booster is activated by the primary MNS-100BAS or MNS-100-EXP. Specifically, a 25 Vrms signal from the main panel triggers it. Therefore, the booster simply follows whatever the main system broadcasts. That keeps expanded speaker coverage in sync with the rest of the building.
