The Simplex 2084-9018 is a firefighter telephone station from the Simplex 2084 Series. It provides two-way emergency voice communication for responders. Specifically, it mounts flush in a backbox for a clean wall profile.
How the Simplex 2084-9018 is built
The station uses a push-to-talk handset for clear two-way calls. An armored cord protects the handset cable from damage. In addition, a break-rod door latch secures the station until an emergency. As a result, the unit resists casual tampering.
