The Simplex 4098-9713 is a TrueAlarm QuickConnect addressable photoelectric smoke sensor with an integral sounder, combining detection and local alarm output in a single compact assembly. The 4098-9713 communicates over the Simplex IDNet addressable loop and provides analog sensing data to the fire alarm control panel. The QuickConnect design allows the sensor head to be replaced without disturbing wiring. The 4098-9713 has been discontinued by Simplex for over ten years; Life Safety Consultants obtained a limited supply of new, factory-packaged units.
