The Simplex 4098-9755 is a compact TrueAlarm addressable duct sensor housing designed for smoke detection in air conditioning and HVAC ductwork. Sampling tubes (ordered separately by duct size) direct duct air across the photoelectric sensor mounted in the housing. The 4098-9755 includes the 4098-9714 photoelectric sensor installed; no separate sensor purchase is required for initial installation. Operating power is supplied by either MAPNET II or IDNet communications wiring—no separate power supply is required. This is the standard duct housing model without relay output; the relay output model is the 4098-9756.
