The Simplex 4098-9770 TrueAlarm CO sensor base integrates an electrolytic carbon monoxide sensing module with a TrueAlarm analog sensor, providing multi-gas detection from a single system address. Carbon monoxide is an odorless, colorless gas produced by incomplete combustion — monitoring CO levels can warn of harmful concentrations and provide early indication of incipient fire conditions when combined with photoelectric sensor data from the same location.
