The Simplex 4100-6308 is a single-mode fiber media card for the 4100ES ES Net architecture. It connects 4100ES panels over fiber optic cable on a Simplex network.
Simplex ES Net is the proprietary peer-to-peer network used by the 4100ES platform. As a result, multiple panels can share alarms, supervisory, and trouble events across a building or campus. In addition, fiber media supports longer runs than copper.
