Simplex (6303-9103) Flush Mount LED Digital Clock / Timer

The Simplex 6303-9103 is a flush-mount LED digital clock and timer. Specifically, it combines a time-of-day display with elapsed-time counting in a single low-profile housing. In addition, the unit is designed for spaces where both functions are needed without two separate devices.

First, typical applications include hospital operating rooms and ICUs. Also, the 6303-9103 is used in school typing rooms, science labs, and similar timed-event spaces.

What the Simplex 6303-9103 Does

First, the unit displays time of day on a high-visibility LED readout. Then, when a Code Blue or timing event begins, the display resets to 00:00:00 and counts up. As a result, staff can see exactly how long an event has been in progress.

Furthermore, the clock relies on an external control station to trigger the timing function. Specifically, the matching Simplex 6303-9202 control station (sold separately) provides the start, stop, and reset inputs. Therefore, plan to order both units for a complete installation.

How Timing and Code Blue Work

• First, a Normally Open contact (controlled by the Code Blue system) closes.
• Then, the display automatically resets to 00:00:00.
• Next, the timer begins counting up in real time.
• Finally, the control station resets or clears the display when the event ends.
