The Simplex GSA4098-9793 is an IDNet isolator base for TrueAlarm analog sensors. It combines sensor mounting with built-in IDNet communications isolation. Specifically, it protects the signaling line circuit from wiring faults.
When the base detects a short circuit on its loop segment, isolation activates automatically. As a result, the fault is contained and the rest of the IDNet SLC keeps running. In addition, isolation can be enabled manually from the fire alarm control panel for troubleshooting.
