The System Sensor SPSWL-P is a white, wall-mount speaker strobe for fire alarm notification. The “-P” suffix marks a plain housing without FIRE lettering. As a result, it suits installations where unmarked appliances are preferred. Furthermore, the device pairs an audible speaker with a synchronized strobe.

First, the speaker provides selectable power taps. Specifically, installers can choose 1/4, 1/2, 1, or 2 watts. In addition, it operates at 25 V or 70.7 V. Then the strobe offers field-selectable candela for flexible coverage. Also, the speaker covers a 400 to 4000 Hz range.
Moreover, the strobe flashes once per second. Therefore, multiple appliances can synchronize across a notification circuit.

The speaker is listed to UL 1480, while the strobe is listed to UL 1971. In addition, the unit mounts to standard wall back boxes. It is rated for indoor use from 32 F to 120 F.
