The STI STI-SA5000-B is a Select-Alert mini controller with a blue lens. First, it pairs a loud audible alarm with a super-bright flashing LED. Then, the user selects the role at install time. As a result, one device can serve many alert duties.
STI STI-SA5000-B applications
First, the unit can run as a cabinet alarm or door/exit alarm. In addition, it can act as a flashing light tied to a push button or switch. Furthermore, it can serve as a tornado siren, burglar alarm, or emergency alert. Therefore, installers can stock a single SKU for multiple jobs.
Audible, power, and form factor
First, the audible tone is selectable at 100 dB or 85 dB. Then, the unit runs on 9 VDC or 12 VDC. Specifically, it measures 3-1/4 in. W x 4-7/8 in. H x 2-3/4 in. D. The housing is polycarbonate, finished in blue. Also, the controller mounts to the wall in a compact footprint.
This controller is designed for indoor cabinet, door, and entry-monitoring use. STI ships the SA5000 series in multiple lens colors for application coding.
