The Telguard TG-PEM is a power and expansion module for TG-7 series communicators. First, it adds eight dry-contact zones to the TG-7 system. In addition, it powers itself directly from the fire alarm panel. As a result, no extra transformer or outlet is needed.
This module expands intrusion and supervisory monitoring on commercial systems. Specifically, it suits offices, schools, healthcare sites, and industrial buildings. Also, two TG-PEM units together provide up to sixteen zones.
How the Telguard TG-PEM works
The module provides eight dry inputs, numbered 1 through 8. Each input reports trip events, restoral reports, or both. Furthermore, you can set each zone as normally open, normally closed, or supervised. Therefore, installers gain flexible, granular control over every input.
Onboard LED indicators show real-time status. As a result, technicians can confirm zone activity at a glance.
