The Vesda VSP-001 is a programmer module for VESDA aspirating smoke detectors. Specifically, it configures, commissions, and maintains the VESDA range. First, it connects to the VESDAnet system. Then, it gives one access point to the whole network.
The module uses a backlit LCD with a multi-language menu. As a result, technicians navigate settings easily. In addition, it can simulate alarms and faults, diagnose communication failures, and show wiring order. Therefore, it speeds up commissioning and troubleshooting.
How the Vesda VSP-001 is used
You can use the VSP-001 as a handheld tool with the included DB15 serial cable. Alternatively, you can mount it in a LaserPLUS or LaserSCANNER detector, a remote box, or a 19″ sub rack. Furthermore, password protection secures access. Also, it supports up to 14 users plus one distributor, each with a 4-digit PIN.
