The Vesda CO2 detection module XCL-LB-CO2VV-RM is a Sensepoint XCL large-bore aspirating gas detector. Specifically, it detects carbon dioxide (CO2) up to 5.0% V/V. First, it draws air through an ASD sampling pipe network. Then, it samples multiple points through one detector.
This unit is a gas detector, not a smoke detector. As a result, it protects occupants and monitors processes for CO2. In addition, it can run alongside fire detection on the same sampling approach. Therefore, one pipe network supports broad situational awareness.
Outputs and setup for the Vesda CO2 detection module
The XCL-LB-CO2VV-RM offers Modbus RTU output plus two configurable relays. Alternatively, a 4-20 mA output is available for alarm and fault reporting. Furthermore, a Bluetooth interface pairs with the Sensepoint app. Also, that app handles configuration, calibration, and bump testing.
