Simplex 4090-9106 Monitor — Class A IDNet ZAM
The Simplex 4090-9106 monitor is a genuine OEM Zone Adapter Module (ZAM). It gives an IDNet addressable interface to a conventional initiating device circuit. Specifically, it provides Class A monitoring for 2-wire initiating devices.
How the Simplex 4090-9106 monitor reports status
This ZAM connects to the panel over the IDNet channel. Therefore, it works with 4008, 4010, 4100U, 4100ES, 4010ES, and 4007ES panels. In addition, it reports four states: NORMAL, OPEN, CURRENT-LIMITED, and SHORT.
You set the address with an eight-position DIP switch. Then the module mounts in a standard 4-inch square electrical box. As a result, installation stays quick and familiar.
