Installation Notes for Genesis 50921106
First, this is a Category 6 NETWORK cable, NOT a fire alarm cable. As a result, do NOT use it on UL 1424 power-limited fire alarm circuits. Then, CMR allows install in risers and general non-plenum spaces. However, this cable is NOT plenum-rated. Therefore, do not install it in air-handling spaces per NEC 300.22(C). Specifying CMR on a fire alarm circuit violates NEC Article 760.
