The Notifier DS-BDA is a backup amplifier board for the DS series. It delivers 125W at 25V. Therefore, it adds amplifier capacity or redundancy to a DS voice system.
The board can also convert to a 70V, 100W amplifier. Specifically, you add a DS-XF70V to make that change. As a result, the DS-BDA adapts to either 25V or 70V speaker circuits.
How the Notifier DS-BDA Is Used
The DS-BDA mounts as a backup amplifier within the DS series platform. Therefore, it supports continued audio output if the primary amplifier fails. In addition, it can expand a system’s total wattage.
For 70V operation, the conversion requires the DS-XF70V. However, the board ships at 125W and 25V by default. Order the DS-XF70V separately if you need 70V output.
