The Wheelock DSM-12/24-R is a dual sync module for fire alarm notification circuits. It synchronizes horn and strobe appliances on a two-wire alarm circuit. Therefore it keeps audible and visual signals coordinated.

Wheelock DSM-12/24-R synchronization

This module produces a synchronized temporal Code 3 horn pattern. In addition, it produces a synchronized strobe flash. As a result, connected appliances pulse together across the circuit. The module works with Wheelock AS-series horn-strobe and audible-strobe appliances.

Circuits and silence control

The DSM-12/24-R controls one Class A or two Class B NAC circuits. Furthermore, it allows audible silence on a single pair of wires. Specifically, you can silence the horn while the strobe keeps flashing. Therefore evacuation cues stay visible during signal management.

Listing

The DSM sync modules are UL Listed under Standard 464. As a result, they suit indoor fire alarm signaling systems.
