First, the 4-CAB16DR ships as a two-piece door assembly. Specifically, it includes the red baked-enamel outer door and a black inner door. As a result, the inner door supports the user-interface modules while acting as a deadfront for field wiring.
In addition, this same door can be used to convert a 4-16ANN remote annunciator from metallic bronze to red. Therefore, facilities standardizing on red life-safety enclosures have a clean retrofit path.
