The Edwards SIGA-WTM is an intelligent addressable waterflow and tamper interface module for Edwards Signature Series loops. Specifically, it monitors one waterflow switch and one supervisory or tamper switch on a sprinkler system. As a result, both signals arrive at the panel as individually identified points.
In addition, the SIGA-WTM uses two device addresses on the Signature loop. Therefore, the panel can distinguish a waterflow alarm from a tamper or supervisory condition without ambiguity.
How the Edwards SIGA-WTM Works
First, the waterflow input includes a built-in retard timer of approximately 16 seconds. As a result, momentary water pressure surges do not generate false alarms. Then, after the retard expires, the module reports a latching waterflow alarm.
Furthermore, the second input handles tamper or supervisory switches. Specifically, it latches on any active condition and clears only after the panel issues a reset.
In addition, the module uses electronic addressing. Therefore, no dip switches or rotary dials are required during installation.
Critical Compatibility Note
The SIGA-WTM does NOT support 2-wire smoke detectors. Therefore, do not connect conventional 2-wire smoke detectors to either input. Instead, use a SIGA-CC1 or SIGA-MM1 configured for the appropriate input type.

Typical Installation
- One module per sprinkler riser or zone
- Waterflow input wired to a paddle-type flow switch
- Tamper input wired to a supervisory switch on the OS&Y valve or PIV
- Address each of the two device positions per the project programming sheet
