The Potter Electric Signal EOLD is an end-of-line resistor and diode assembly. Specifically, it supervises releasing circuits in fire alarm systems. Technicians connect it at remote locations on those circuits. As a result, the panel can monitor solenoids and electric actuators. Furthermore, it is a UL Listed end-of-line supervisory device.

First, the resistor is rated 5.1K ohms, 1/4 watt, at 5% tolerance. In addition, the diode is a 6A1 type, rated 100V and 6A. The assembly measures 12 inches overall. Also, it uses #18 AWG stranded wire with red and black jacketed leads.
Where the EOLD is used
Install the EOLD on releasing circuit solenoids and electric actuators. Then refer to your panel installation manual for placement. Therefore, always confirm the end-of-line value required by your control panel. This assembly suits suppression and releasing applications in commercial facilities.
