The fireray (6010-300) is a Fireray One reflective beam smoke detector. It auto-aligns to its reflector at the flick of a switch. Specifically, this model covers 5 m to 50 m (16 ft to 164 ft).
In addition, the Fireray One projects an infrared beam to a reflector. The reflector returns the beam to the detector. As a result, smoke in the beam path triggers an alarm.
Fast Setup with the fireray (6010-300)
First, steer the laser onto the reflector. Then flick the switch, and the detector aligns itself. Therefore, one technician can commission it without specialist tools.
Furthermore, Building Movement Tracking compensates for natural building sway. As a result, the detector keeps its alignment over time. This reduces nuisance faults in tall or flexing structures.
