Notifier FMM-1 Addressable Monitor Module with FlashScan
The Notifier FMM-1 is an addressable monitor module that supervises one Class A or Class B circuit of dry-contact input devices. First, the module presents a single addressable point to the panel. As a result, the panel sees the supervised contact closure as one identified input.
Specifically, the FMM-1 uses Notifier’s FlashScan protocol for faster group polling on FlashScan-capable panels. Therefore, response times improve when multiple modules change state at once.
What the Notifier FMM-1 Monitors
The FMM-1 watches dry-contact initiating devices such as waterflow switches, valve tamper switches, and conventional pull stations. In addition, it can supervise sets of contacts wired in series across Class A or Class B circuits. As a result, one module address can cover an entire run of identical dry-contact inputs.
Furthermore, the module installs in a standard 4-inch electrical box. Therefore, mounting fits typical fire alarm rough-in.
